Kitchen Guard, an EverSmith Brand, is a leading kitchen exhaust cleaning company dedicated to ensuring the safety and cleanliness of commercial industrial kitchens. Kitchen Guard Services started in 2009 as a cold water, kitchen, and bar cleaning service. With a strong commitment to quality service and fire safety, we’ve built a reputation for excellence in our industry. This role is an exciting opportunity as Kitchen Guard expands to Ann Arbor.

This role is for a night shift, typically Sunday to Thursday from 10 PM to 8 AM (The exact schedule may vary based on customer needs). This role will require overtime & includes biweekly bonuses based on job performance! This role is also eligible to participate in Kitchen Guard of Ann Arbor's bonus plan.

Primary Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor activities of associates on crew making sure they adhere to the standards of excellence and to the guidelines outlined in the employee handbook, as well as enforcing policies and procedures, coaching, training, and correcting where needed.
Maintain a professional and high-quality service-oriented environment at all times.
Manage assigned night shift route, ensuring all employees assigned to the crew perform the tasks assigned to them and coordinate with other departments as needed.
Power washing kitchen exhaust systems, covering hoods, ductwork, filters, and exhaust fans.
Efficient setup and takedown of job sites and equipment.
Performing tasks independently without direct supervision.
Maintain and manage equipment, and report any discrepancies.
Should show initiative, problem-solving ability, and staff training skills
Remain current in all updates about new procedures and training.
Any other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of supervisor responsibility
Hood Cleaning experience (not required)
Computer skills- word, excel, internet, other computer applications
Organization skills and time management skills
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
Previous experience working nights is a plus

Physical Requirements:

Be physically able to climb ladders to gain rooftop access to commercial establishments.
Ability to squat, lift, and carry 50 lbs., a minimum of 100 feet.
Able to stand for 10 hours at a time.
Have excellent attention to detail and work fast and efficiently.

Compensation: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
