Job Overview
As a B2B Sales Consultant / Fire & Life Safety Consultant for Kitchen Guard, your primary responsibility is expanding our client base.  You will become a subject matter expert in Fire and Life Safety to identify fire risk in commercial kitchens and connect customers with our services and solutions.  Our services are required by fire code, so you can enjoy a competitive advantage with minimum direct sales competition.  We're growing fast, and we want you to be a part of our journey!

Kitchen Guard of San Antonio is a locally owned franchise of Kitchen Guard, a leading kitchen exhaust cleaning company dedicated to ensuring the safety and cleanliness of commercial industrial kitchens.  Our primary service lines are kitchen exhaust (vent hood) cleaning, filter exchange, repairs, and steam cleaning.  With a strong commitment to quality service and fire safety, we’ve built a reputation for excellence in our industry.  

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the target market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase our fire and life safety solutions.
  • Develop proposals outlining recommended safety solutions, including cost estimates and timelines.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations to clients, addressing their specific safety needs.
  • Set and meet sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their fire safety needs are met with tailored solutions.
  • Conduct regular check-ins to assess client satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services.
  • Demonstrate a keen understanding of fire and life safety systems.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to assess the client’s needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements to provide informed consultations.
  • Ensure the safety and efficient installation and maintenance of fire safety equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing safety training to maintain a high level of awareness and preparedness.
  • Problem-solving on-site challenges and make recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in B2B sales, preferably in the fire and life safety industry or restaurant industry.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in dealing with various work environments, including grease or dirty rooftops.
  • Effective phone and in person communication.  
  • Effective time management skills and attention to detail to balance multiple client accounts and tasks.
  • Attention to detail in conducting inspections, preparing reports, and recommending solutions.
  • Ability to convey technical information clearly and understandably to clients.
  • Ability to adapt to and learn new technologies as required.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional networks within the industry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Experience in commercial facility services or related fields.
  • Experience with or relevant certifications in fire and life safety.
  • Spanish proficiency
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work comfortably at heights and on rooftops.
  • Capable of lifting 40+ pounds occasionally and using A-frame ladders.

Compensation: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
