What You’ll Do

As an Outside Sales Representative – Fire & Life Safety, you will be responsible for driving new business growth, building strong client relationships, and ensuring commercial kitchens comply with fire safety regulations. You’ll work closely with restaurant owners, property managers, and facility operators to deliver essential services that are legally required.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Client Acquisition

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the restaurant and hospitality industry.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and field sales visits.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders (restaurant owners, facility managers, fire marshals).
  • Conduct presentations to showcase our fire safety solutions.
  • Prepare and present proposals that outline tailored fire protection plans.
Consultative Selling & Compliance Guidance

  • Educate clients on fire safety compliance and best practices.
  • Perform on-site evaluations to identify safety risks and recommend solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and fire codes to provide accurate information.
Account Management & Growth

  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and service check-ins.
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional services, such as filter exchange and repairs.

What We’re Looking For

  • Long-Term Sales Leader – Proven ability to prospect, build lasting client relationships, and consistently exceed sales targets—while seeking a long-term opportunity to grow within a franchise-backed business.
  • B2B Sales Experience – Preferably in commercial kitchen services, fire safety, HVAC, or facility maintenance.
  • Strong Communication & Relationship-Building Skills – Ability to engage with business owners and decision-makers.
  • Self-Motivated & Results-Driven – Works well independently, takes initiative, and meets goals.
  • Technical Aptitude – Willing to learn and explain fire safety solutions.
  • Adaptability & Problem-Solving – Ability to work in diverse environments, including kitchens and rooftops.
  • Basic Tech & Reporting Skills – CRM experience is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fire safety, facility services, or restaurant industry is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in fire safety or sales are beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Fire Science, or related field preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work at heights (e.g., rooftops, ladders).
  • Physically fit to lift 40+ lbs when needed.

Compensation Summary

We offer a competitive compensation package designed to reward your success:

  • Total Earnings Potential: $60,000 – $125,000+ per year (base + uncapped commission)
