We are seeking a reliable On-Call Night Shift Technician for our Colorado location. This role is designed for individuals who desire a flexible schedule and are available to respond to service needs on an as-needed basis. You will be the primary line of defense in fire prevention, ensuring commercial kitchens remain safe and compliant.
On-Call Requirements & Flexibility
- Availability: Must be available for dispatch during night-shift hours (typically late evening to early morning).
- Responsiveness: Ability to confirm assignments within a set timeframe once contacted.
- Scheduling: Work frequency will vary based on client demand, emergency service requests, and seasonal volume. This is a perfect fit for those looking to supplement their income with high-impact work.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Power washing kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, ductwork, filters, and fans.
- Efficient setup and takedown of job sites and equipment.
- Maintaining vehicle organization and ensuring specialized tools are job-ready.
- Ensuring the facility is meticulously cleaned before departure.
Inspections and Documentation:
- Conducting thorough pre- and post-inspections of facilities.
- Capturing high-quality photographic documentation of all systems serviced.
- Strictly adhering to administrative and reporting procedures via mobile apps or logs.
Operational Excellence:
- Performing tasks independently and maintaining high standards without direct supervision.
- Opening and securing customer facilities with the utmost integrity.
- Safe operation of large service vehicles.
Physical Requirements
- Mobility: Ability to climb ladders to gain rooftop access to commercial establishments
- Strength: Ability to squat, lift, and carry 50 lbs. for a minimum of 100 feet.
- Stamina: Ability to stand and perform manual labor for the duration of the shift (up to 10 hours).
