The Job in Short:
We deep-clean commercial kitchen exhaust hoods and roofs using hot-water pressure washers. It’s dirty, hands-on work, but the pay is solid, hours are consistent, and you work independently with a small team.
Who We’re Looking For (Traits Over Experience):
We can train the trade, but we can't train work ethic. You don't need prior hood cleaning experience if you bring these key traits to the team:
- Dependable & On-Time: You show up for every scheduled shift, ready to work.
- Hard Working & Responsible: You take pride in doing things right without a boss hovering over you.
- Detail-Oriented & Efficient: You notice the small stuff, work fast, and leave kitchens spotless.
- Quick Learner with Initiative: You pick up tools quickly and see what needs to be done next without waiting to be told.
What You Get:
- Solid Pay + Overtime + Bonuses: Start at $20/hr with extra performance bonus opportunities.
- Paid Training & Trade Certification: Learn the equipment and gain NFPA 96 Fire Safety certification on our dime.
- Provided Company Gear: We supply all tools, uniform tops and safety gear.
-
Real Career Growth: Show up on time, do clean work, and move from Technician to Lead Tech / Foreman quickly.
What You’ll Be Doing Every Night:
- Setting up pressure washers, hoses, and protective plastic in restaurant kitchens.
- Power washing hoods, ductwork, and rooftop exhaust fans down to bare metal.
- Taking quality before-and-after photos to verify work compliance.
- Meticulously cleaning up the kitchen so it’s spotless before the restaurant opens.
Basic Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License: Clean driving record and reliable rides to our shop in Sheridan.
- Physical Capability: Able to climb ladders to get on roofs, lift 50 lbs, and stand for long shifts.
- Night Shift Comfort: Comfortable working late-night/overnight schedules.
